"Many things will be the concern of the Betawian people in Jakarta, starting from the system of government, the distribution of regional finances, to how the Betawi Customary Council is united as a unitary government in Jakarta," he expressed, on the sidelines of the session, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (5/19).
Imitate the specificity in Aceh, he explained, the regional government has three elements, namely, the executive (governor and its apparatus), the legislative (DPRD), and the Nangroe Aceh Darussalam Guardian Council.
"Likewise, in Papua, there is a Governor, DPRD, and Papuan People's Assembly. Trident in nature, one unit in the system of government," he explained.
He was determined to fight hard for this system thus it could also be implemented in Jakarta.
"Jakarta also needs to use this trident concept for its specificity later. What we are fighting for is following the constitution, regulated in Article 18 B Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia," he stated.
