July, Construction of Serambi Temu Dukuh Atas Finished

PT MRT Jakarta accelerates the construction of Serambi Temu Dukuh Atas on Jalan Galunggung, Setiabudi Sub-district, South Jakarta. From October 2021 to the end of May 2022, the progress has reached 47.6 percent.

PT MRT Jakarta President Director (Perseroda) William P. Sabandar conveyed the construction of Serambi Temu Dukuh Atas is a part of the development of Dukuh Atas Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area. Serambi Temu Dukuh Atas is a multipurpose pedestrian bridge that will connect Jabodebek Dukuh Atas LRT Station and Sudirman KCI Station.

"Its length is approximately 265 meters and the progress so far has reached 47.6 percent. Our target is to complete it in July 2022," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/25).

MRT Customer Satisfaction Index Continues to Show Improvement

The infrastructure project was conducted by PT Moda Integrated Transportation Jabodetabek (PT MITJ), which is a joint venture of PT MRT Jakarta and PT KAI.

The Dukuh Atas Intersection and a transport hub are also under construction at the same location. Later, this infrastructure will function as a transit area for mass public transport hubs on Jalan Blora, Menteng. It is planned that the 11-story building with an area of 15,000 square meters will also be equipped with offices, retail, and a modern market.

It would be also equipped with Transjakarta bus stops and a drop-off area for online motorcycle taxis to support transit activities from Dukuh Atas BNI MRT Station, Sudirman KCI Station, Jabodebek LRT Station, and BNI City Station. All of the projects were carried out by PT MRT Jakarta.

"The project is targeted to be completed in March 2023. So far, the progress has reached around 26.6 percent," he stated.
