Bank DKI, Bank NTT Sign a MoU on Digital Payment Systems

Bank DKI and Bank NTT signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on digital payment systems which included digital payments through co-branding of electronic money and digital applications.
This collaboration further encourages the expansion of the application of cashless transactions throughout Indonesia
The signing was executed by Bank DKI's Technology and Operations Director Amirul Wicaksono and Bank NTT President Director Harry Alexander Riwu Kaho.
It was witnessed by Retail and Sharia Bank DKI Director Babay Parid Wazdi and Credit Bank NTT Director Paulus Stefen Messakh.

His party supported Bank NTT in non-cash transactions using the digital ecosystem and branding chosen by Bank NTT.
He explained that Bank NTT could use a digital platform or e-channel product owned by Bank DKI which would be integrated with JakCard as a prepaid card belonging to Bank DKI. It could be used for merchant partners who have collaborated with Bank NTT or vice versa.
"This collaboration further encourages the expansion of the application of cashless transactions throughout Indonesia. Hope it can fix economic in various sectors," he concluded, Monday (5/30).
As for the information, the development of Bank DKI's JakCard electronic money card started in 2007 when the JakCard license was first issued.
Until 2021, the JakCard could already be used to meet the needs of its users for non-cash transactions, such as transportation tickets for MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, Railink, and Mikrotrans network, including entrance tickets to various tourist sites and payments to merchants.
JakCard's performance until 2021 had touched 3.8 million cards in circulation with transaction volumes reaching Rp 10.5 billion.
Besides implementing synergy, both also made a sign of trust in Bank DKI's technological capacity.
Bank DKI also continues to strive to provide digital ecosystem services or e-channels to encourage the implementation of cashless transactions in various communities in Jakarta through JakOne Community Apps such as JakOne Erte, JakOne Artri, and Ancol Apps.
"Bank DKI will soon keep innovating digital banking services such as JakOne Pay and JakSchool," he stated.
