Dishub: Disabled Drivers, Passengers Exempt from Odd-even Policy

The Jakarta Transportation Agency or Dishub has said that vehicles driven by persons with disabilities were one of the vehicles that were excluded from crossing the 25 roads affected by the odd-even traffic policy in the capital city.

"Deliver or send the letter to our office at the Jatibaru Technical Agency Housing Complex, Jalan Taman Jatibaru, Cideng, Gambir, Central Jakarta," he explained.
He explained that he would contact the applicant for data verification. Afterward, the officer would meet with the concerned, then inspect the proposed vehicle and accompanying driver, verifying the required documents attached to the letter
"After being declared eligible, the officer will put a sticker on the vehicle," he explained.
He added the sticker given was only a marker, which means that the police still have the right to check and give fines if there are no persons with disabilities in the vehicle.
"If the car does not have a sticker but carries persons with disabilities, we will give an exception and be free of odd-even policy," he stressed.
The following letter attachments need to be included:
- Photocopy of ID card (if the person is over 17 years old)
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate (if the person is under 17 years old) and photocopy of parent/guardian's ID card
- Photocopy of Driving License (SIM) if persons with disabilities bring their car
- Photocopy of Family Card (KK)
- Photocopy of Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) (one person with a disability, one vehicle)
- Photocopy of medical records
- Full body photo of persons with disabilities, size 8R
- Other supports such as a certificate of educational foundation/student card
