"The first is to ensure a safe and discrimination-free work environment," she said.

It was considered important amid increasingly complex challenges in urban areas, where many women belong to vulnerable groups, such as working women who have families.

"In the Jakarta Government, there is a circular letter about sexual violence prevention and handling in the work environment. However, we haven't found any internal policies in companies, private sectors, or other business sectors that ensure the work environment is safe and free of discrimination, including free of sexual violence," she explained.

The second, she added, was the importance of realizing sensitivity training in business centers that are full of gender and inclusiveness issues. While the third was the importance of building and integrating shelters for women workers at every point of industry and business.
