KPKP Agency Prepares Some Activities to Enliven City's Anniversary

The Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency is holding various activities to enliven the upcoming Jakarta's 495th Anniversary.
Materials are given following the number of participants in each location
Those activities are the Gardening Class continued with tree planting in 495 locations, flower arrangements with the elderly, and the launch of Jakpreneur's kitchen.
KPKP Agency Head Suharini Eliawati said the Gardening Class consisted of two categories (beginner and advanced classes). It was in collaboration with Jakarta TP PKK and PT East-West Seed Indonesia (Ewindo), which is the producer of Panah Merah (Red Arrow) seeds.

As for the flower arrangement with the elderly would be attended by around 495 participants from the coached residents of the Elderly Institution managed by the Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos), administrators, and members of the Jakarta Elderly Communication Forum (FKLJ).
It will be held on June 16, 2022, at the social house, KPKP Agency Office, and FKLJ site. There would be speakers from the Indonesian Flower Arrangement Association (IPBI) to provide training to the participants.
"This is also to increase the class of 495 Jakpreneur members. Materials are given following the number of participants in each location," she explained.
There would also be a Jakpreneur Kitchen launch at the Klender Small Processing Unit (SPU), East Jakarta, which is intended to facilitate assisted MSMEs that do not have a special kitchen following the requirements to obtain a distribution permit.
"The kitchen has met the criteria for good food production as one of the requirements for obtaining permits, both distribution permits from the POM and PIRT," she stated.
