Jakarta Provincial Government gave a stern warning to traders who sell chicken meat containing formaldehyde. If they violate the rules, the trade license will be revoked and banned from selling in the market.

"If traders sell chicken meat containing formaldehyde, we will revoke their trade license," asserted Head of Jakarta Marine and Agriculture Department, Darjamuni, after holding sudden inspection at 10 traditional markets in North Jakarta, Wednesday (12/24).
According to Darjamuni, the warning must be applied to protect people from harmful food products or deviate from the procedures, like containing formaldehyde, borax or mixed with pork.
