Prevent Brawl, Pertina - Polda Metro Jaya Collaborates to Hold Boxing Championship

The Jakarta Provincial Board of the Indonesian Amateur Boxing Association (Pengprov Pertina) and the Polda Metro Jaya will hold a boxing match to commemorate the 76th Bhayangkara Day.

The boxing championship that competes for the Pold Metro Jaya Chief's Cup is held as a follow-up to the aspirations of the people, especially mothers in Tanah Abang area who hoped that the event would allow young people in Jakarta to share their hobbies positively.

"This boxing match is our quick response to follow up on people's aspirations conveyed directly to the police chief until it went viral," he expressed, Sunday (6/10).

According to him, he had coordinated with the Polda Metro Jaya, represented by Traffic Directorate (Dirlantas) Chief Kombes. Pol. Sambodo Purnomo Yogo.

"We agreed to collaborate in realizing this boxing championship to minimize juvenile delinquency," he explained.

He explained that it will be held in an open area of the Gelora Bung Karno area, Central Jakarta on June 25 and 26, 2022, starting at 8 AM to 5 PM.

"This is open to people from the age of 12 years, such as junior, youth to senior levels. Boxing champions will receive medals and certificates, including support money," he said.
