The North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is targeting to complete the construction of embung (artificial lake)'s 181-meter-long retaining wall on Jalan Rusun Marunda RW 07, Cilincing, by the end of October.

This contruction has been started since early January

North Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Section Head Yursid Suryanegara conveyed that the retaining wall construction is a follow-up to KSD No. 66/2020 concerning the arrangement of Rumah Si Pitung historical tourism site. It was aimed at preventing abrasion in the tourism area.

"This contruction has been started since early January and the progress has reached more than 40 percent," he conveyed, Monday (6/27).

He informed that it was carried out using river stone with a height of 170 centimeters, a width of 30 centimeters at the upper part and 40 centimeters at the bottom part, and was installed with dolken woods and gabion walls as high as 50 centimeters.

"We involve 8 personnel and 1 mini amphibious excavator," he said.
