To change or update the documents, residents only need to bring old e-KTP and a photocopy of KK. The service is still open for those who want to update data on other documents, such as birth certificates, death certificates, divorce certificates, and others.
"According to governor's instruction, we are asked to go to the field on the first day of door-to-door service," he said.
Residents were advised not to worry about the change in street names. Because all related agencies, including TNI/Police, would assist them in updating their documents. For those who want to apply for a change in population documents, the service can be accessed at the local urban village office or come directly to the service location.
The police also committed to providing free service for affected residents who want to update their vehicle registration certificate (STNK) and driver's license (SIM) data.
