Bureaucracy System Should be Easy, Ahok Says

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) officially launched One Stop Integrated Services Agency (BPTSP). The BPTSP launching is expected to facilitate public access to government services and to anticipate the existence of convoluted bureaucracy in the city government.

"I do not want to hear anymore if the BPTSP staff say there is none of my business, or they do not understand about the society problem. Bureaucratic procedures should not be complicated. The service time and the cost should be transparent for citizens," said Basuki at City Hall, Friday (1/2).
He added the BPTSP employee is the public service backbone to measure the success of Jakarta Provincial Government.

BPTSP officer may not receive payments or benefits of any kind ," he added.Basuki confirmed, his side will monitor the performance of BPTSP officer through CCTV camera. It is expected the officers performance can be more professional through this system.
Meanwhile, the BPTSP Jakarta Head, Noor Samsu Hidayat added, the citizens who want to propose the administration letter just need to come to the nearest PTSP office.
"After that, BPTSP officer will take care the rest up to the issuance of license services that is needed by citizens," he explained.
According to him, his side will organize gradually all licensing and non-licensing which reached 518 licensing types include education, health, public works, housing, spatial planning, transportation, environment, land that under the regional authority, as well as the women empowerment and children protection. Later, the BPTSP will organize an integrated service at 318 service locations, namely the BPTSP Province, six cities/districts BPTSP offices, 44 sub-districts, and 267 urban villages.
