According to him, the plan was rejected due to it is very dangerous. It reminds on the collapse Latuharhari Dam, causing flooding along Jalan MH Thamrin-Sudirman a some time ago.
City to Look for Another Developer to Build MonorailIn addition, PT JM also filed a permission to build a depot in Tanah Abang using one lane. "I don't agree. It means we have to refuse the Jakarta Monorail (JM)'s project, if they insist to build the depot on the reservoir. I have reported everything to Mr. President," he said.
He asserted, If PT JM remains build the depot, they shold have another place for its construction.
"If the construction has been different from the initial plan, PT JM must also participate the auction along with other companies that want to build a monorail," he asserted.
That is why, Jakarta Provincial Government will sent a letter to PT JM related with sustainability of the monorail project. "I have told them to reply the letter because there has been a recommendation from Public Works. We reply it next week," he added.
