End of July, SME's Selling Location on Pramuka Island Revitalized

The SME's selling location on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district will be revitalized by the end of this July.

This aims to support tourism in Seribu Islands

Seribu Islands Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM) Head Bangun Richard expressed the revitalization would use the 2022 City Budget (APBD) to transform the selling location into a one-stop hawker center on the UPPD II's lands, precisely in front of the Post Office and the Al-Makmuriyah Mosque Pulau Pramuka.

"The land has been handed over to us through a lease agreement. Revitalization must be carried out immediately, as we already have the Goods and Service Procurement," he expressed, Thursday (7/28).

Thus far, the sub-agency had relocated five traders who had been actively working in the previous location. They are currently being temporarily housed in the asset area of the UUPD II which is located north of Pramuka Island Port until revitalization is complete.

He continued its revitalization was targeted for completion in the forthcoming October 2022, where each kiosk would have an area of 2x1.7 meters equipped with a table and chairs, a manager's office, and a toilet.
