The festival named JALIJALIFEST22 with the title 'Building Literacy towards an Empowered and Creative Jakarta Society' presents a series of literacy activities divided into five themes, namely Memoirs, Culture, Design and Lifestyle, Arts and Performances, and Culinary.
These themes will be spread at various locations, including the Reading Library in Tebet, The Harvest, KOPIBRUG Cafe, and Sarana Square Building.

"This festival is intended for students, communities, housewives, employees, business people, and other communities. With themes presented, we hope that many will come here," expressed Jakarta Library and Archives Agency Head Wahyu Haryadi, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (8/2).
He explained that literacy activities such as talk shows and workshops with various literacy themes with professional speakers in their fields would color the festival.
There would also be exhibitions on every literacy theme and a mobile library with interesting collections that can be read on site.
Not only that, the cheap book bazaar would also be held throughout the festival in collaboration with leading publishers.
"Hope it can be a starting point for increasing literacy in Jakarta. A high level of literacy will build a society that is competitive in various aspects of life," he explained.
