Petamburan Park 1 Very Worrying

The condition of a park as long as 500 meters which is located on Jalan Petamburan 1, precisely on the side wall of the West Flood Canal is very worrying. This is because many park facilities used as a chicken livestock place.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, many children's playground facilities and benches are rusted and damaged. Not only that, the park wall is dirtied by graffiti, likewise with a jogging track that has been dirtied by mud. 

Apip (27), a local resident, admitted the damage park has been going on since a long time ago. "Chickens left wandering. I am having trouble finding a place to sit due to it's full with chicken dung," he complained, Thursday (1/22).

Responding on this matter, Head of Central Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Themy Kendra Putra stated in the near future, his sub-department intends to renovate the park in the near future. "It is one of the mayor's priorities in 2015," he expressed.

He added, his side would add children playground and send some officers in the park to prevent unwanted things. "We also expect people can more wisely, where the park that was designed as a means of resident interaction must be kept clean," he stressed.
