Inundation in the tunnel under the toll road near MC Donald Cipayung has receded

Heavy rain in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/4) afternoon left under the Jagorawi Toll Road, Jalan Bina Marga with 20 to 30 centimeters of inundation, precisely opposite MC Donald Cipayung, East Jakarta. Luckily, it has been receding gradually after five PPSU personnel were sent to the location.

Cipayung Urban Village Head, Yulian Fathiniah said that the water got into the water channel and spilled out onto the road when heavy rain occurred.

"Inundation in the tunnel under the toll road near MC Donald Cipayung has receded," she stated.

To handle it, five PPSU personnel were alerted to clean garbage and material clogging the culverts.

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Panangaran Ritonga added that the same situation was also spotted on Jalan Pondok Ranggon, precisely in front of Colombus Store, RW 03. The inundation has 50 centimeters high because of the basin area.

"Personnel have been sent to the location for a better condition," he concluded.
