21 Parks in South Jakarta will Be Arranged

As many as 21 parks in South Jakarta will be re-arranged and adjusted to the results of the analysis of the environment and local people. Among those parks are Gajah, Mataram Timur, Hang Tuah, Puring, Lenteng Agung, as well as other parks alongside lane of the mass rapid transit (MRT).

"We plan to re-arrange 21 parks in South Jakarta. I want to create a city park," said Head of South Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Suzi M, Thursday (1/29).

Especially for parks located in the MRT lanes and offices, its concept will be integrated with technology. "Like as some parks along Jalan Sisingamangaraja, where they will be equipped with Wi-Fi, bike parking lot, and CCTV," she stated.

Parks in C. Jakarta will Be Equipped with Children Facilities

As for the other parks in the residential area, will be provided with sports facility, children playground, and disabled people facility. "Nevertheless, we have to sort out which park near the residential and the main road," she expressed.

She hopes people could be more loving and caring for the park. "All this time, our park is always deserted from visitor due usual park concept. If there are playground and sport facilities, they must be curious and willing to try," he uttered.
