Joint Personnel Prepared to Clean Sidewalks along Presidential Palace, Istiqlal Mosque, and Cathedral Church

The Central Jakarta administration is about to hold a cleanup action on the sidewalks along the Presidential Palace, Istiqlal Mosque, and the Cathedral Church, Friday (11/4) night.

This cleanup is slated to be held around 10 PM

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting expressed that as many as 960 joint personnel were prepared to clean the sidewalks along the Presidential Palace, Istiqlal Mosque, and Cathedral Church.

"These joint personnel are PPSU, Environment Sub-agency, Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, Fire and Rescue Sub-agency, Parks and City Forest Sub-agency. Each urban village has sent around 10 PPSU personnel to the location," he expressed, Friday (11/4).

200 Personnel Join Cleanup Action in Kampung Gembira Gembrong

He revealed that it was carried out to follow up on the direction of Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.

"This cleanup is slated to be held around 10 PM, which aims to avoid the crowds of motorcycles passing around Jalan Medan Merdeka area," he explained.

It was targeted to be completed within two hours.

"We also have dozens of fire and park engines to spray sidewalks," he stated.
