The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) participates in the International Sourcing Expo Australia (ISEA) exhibition at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Australia on November 15-17, 2022.

It is enlivened by coached MSMEs (Jakpreneurs) who had gone through the curation process of the PPKUKM Agency curator team, including producers from various countries.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Secretary, Ety Syartika said the Jakarta Provincial Government's participation in this international exhibition was aimed at supporting the central government's program in the context of recovering the national economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was also aimed at promoting Jakpreneur products, especially apparel/clothing, accessories, and textiles in the global market.

"We fully support it thus they can continue to innovate and compete in the global market with various breakthroughs and creative ideas in developing their business products," she expressed, Wednesday (11/16).

She mentioned that the Jakpreneurs who had successfully passed the exhibition consisted of Bella Signature, AdelaEcoDye, and Prima Perahu Agung with ASN team assistants and the PPKUKM Agency curator.

In the exhibition, the Jakarta Government also won The Most Innovative Booth Award. The award was received directly by Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Secretary, Ety Syartika, and Jakarta PPKUKM Agency's Industry Division Head, Dhani Hendranala.

As for the information, the ISEA exhibition is a B2B (business to business) trade exhibition for apparel/clothing, accessories, and textile products, which is one of the largest trade exhibition events in Australia.

"With the opening of export market opportunities for Jakpreneur products abroad, it can increase Jakarta's GRDP which is dominated by the trade sector," she stated.
