Jakarta Officer's Performance is Good, Djarot Says

Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Jakarta Vice Governor, appraises the officer's performance from open recruitment results. The officials, especially the sub-district and urban village heads were ready helping the citizens during the flood.

Djarot admitted, his side has held evaluation of his officers during a month. But, not all officers can be monitored because a large number of the officers. Overall, almost all officers do the responsibility well.
"I see they are OK in the field, good enough," told Djarot at Jakarta City hall, Tuesday (2/3).

As example in flood handling this year, they wanted to do communal work with their citizens to clean water drainage in citizen's settlement. So the water could directly flow through the canal.
"The mayor, urban village head, sub-district head are quite spry to anticipate the flood earlier. Alhamdulillah (thanks God) the flood was recede quickly because the canal is clean from trash and sedimentation," Djarot explained.
The Vice Governor added, all evaluation of the officers is assessed in Jakarta Employment Agency (BKD). Moreover, all officers are also required to create daily journal for evaluation materials.
"We assess the officers after all processed in Inspectorate, then; all SKPD (provincial working unit) head will evaluate them. We will asks their performance from Inspectorate and Jakarta Employment Agency," he uttered.
As known, there was mass inauguration of 4,676 Jakarta officials on January 2 at Monas, Central Jakarta. Although they have been inaugurated, they can't relax because their performance will be evaluated every 3 month.
