Again, Jakarta BUMD Distributes Aid to Earthquake Victims in Cianjur

The Jakarta Provincial Government and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) once again distributed logistical aid for earthquake victims in Cianjur last Friday (12/9), which was carried out ceremonially by BUMD Development Agency (PLT) Head, Fitria Rahadiani.

Hope the aid can lighten their burden

According to her, the aid distributed was in the form of clothes that had been collected from BUMD employees, toiletries, medicines, cooking oil, sanitary napkins, pampers, rice, instant noodles, snacks, and blankets with a total amount of approximately Rp 300 million.

"Aid was distributed to several points in order to reach those who had not received assistance," she expressed, Friday (12/16).

She went on to say that the aid itself was from corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds through several BUMDs. They were Perumda Pasar Jaya, Bank DKI, Perumda PAM Jaya, PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), PT Jakarta Tourisindo or Jakarta Experience Board (JXB), and Perumda Dharma Jaya.

"We've coordinated it with Perumda Pasar Jaya to distribute the aid. They also did distribution through the Cianjur Branch Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) spread across several command posts for targeted distribution," he expressed.

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Tri Prasetyo added that the aid distribution is a social action and synergy between Jakarta BUMDs as a form of concern for disaster victims.

"There are companies involved in this action, namely CV Incasi Raya, PT Selago Makmur Plantation, ABC, and PT URC Indonesia, including traders and employees of Pasar Jaya," he concluded.

"Hope the aid can lighten their burden," he closed.
