Seribu Islands to Celebrate New Year's Eve on Two Residential Islands

The Seribu Islands Regency administration is about to celebrate New Year's Eve on two residential islands with folk entertainment, donations to orphans, and joint prayers.

Let's celebrate the New Year orderly, comfortably

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi expressed that New Year's Eve would be held at Sakura Beach, Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands District, and Panggang Island Reclamation Beach in North Seribu Islands Sub-district.

"It will be held on Saturday (12/31) from 8 PM to 12 AM," he expressed, Friday (12/30).

He hoped that it could run well and all visitors still comply with the Covid-19 health protocol.

Urban Village and sub-district heads were instructed to stay alert. Together with army (TNI)/police, Satpol PP, and medics, they were asked to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors celebrating New Year's Eve in Seribu Islands.

His party also called on visitors and residents not to force themselves to do activities at sea considering that currently there is extreme weather and high waves.

"Let's celebrate the New Year orderly, comfortably, maintain cleanliness, and also comply with health protocols," he stated.
