High Intensity Rainfall, Some Areas in W. Jakarta Inundated

Incessant rain since last night caused flooding in some areas in West Jakarta. Some citizens started to pack their belonging, but they remain refused to be relocated.

The water level reached above 40 cm. Then flood also inundated the area around Pasar Patra with 40 - 60 cm

Relying on beritajakarta.com information, the 40 to 60 cm flood inundated some resident's settlements in RW 02 and 08, Kedoya Utara, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district.

Head of Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, Agus Triono said, besides 2 RWs inundated, flood also occurred on Jalan Panjang, precisely around Green Ville Housing entrance.

"The water level reached above 40 cm. Then flood also inundated the area around Pasar Patra with 40 - 60 cm," he explained, Monday (2/9).

Besides that, the flood also submerged hundreds houses in RW 03, 12, and 14, Cengkareng Timur Urban village, Cengkareng Sub-district. The water level reached 50-60 centimeter.

Furthermore, 60 cm floods also occurred on Jalan Daan Mogot KM 13 from Cengkareng towards Grogol.Then, 60 cm flood also monitored on Jalan S. Parman, precisely in front of Mal Citraland and Trisakti University.
