The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission C says Perumda Dharma Jaya must prioritize the readiness of beef and chicken stocks ahead of Ramadan in the upcoming March.

Commission C Chairman, Habib Muhammad bin Salim Alatas expressed ahead of Ramadan, Perumda Dharma Jaya must start focusing on preparing for the high demand for meat in the market, thus the residents' needs can still be met.
"Ramadan is closer. I ask for working capital in 2023 for the procurement of meat and chicken, so please prioritize it," he stated, Thursday (1/26).

"This is urgent because March has entered Ramadan," he stated.
Peruma Dharma Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman admitted he always prepared stocks of meat and chicken to anticipate price fluctuations that might occur at any time. There are currently 500 tons of meat stock prepared for Ramadan.
"We have anticipated and prepared sufficient stocks to meet people's needs during Ramadan," he stated.
