South Jakarta Dukcapil Intensifies e-KTP Data Recording in SchoolsAccording to him, the transition from physical form to digital was made to make it easier for residents to use ID cards via an application on their cell phones. The transition service to digital ID Card will be carried out in stages. For West Jakarta residents who want to make changes, they can directly visit the dukcapil service office in the sub-district and bring a physical ID Card.
"Our officers will help with the digital transfer process by downloading the Digital Resident Identity (IKD) application," he explained.
He hoped that the use of the IKD application could facilitate residents to do their activities, thus they no longer needed to carry a physical ID Card.
"The IKD application makes it easy for residents to store their ID Card digitally, thus when needed they can immediately open it on their cell phone," he stated.
