BPBD: Four RTs in Jakarta are Still Inundated

Rain with moderate to heavy intensity that has been showering the Jakarta area since Saturday (2/11) morning has caused inundation at several points in Jakarta.

Based on data as of 12 PM, there is inundation that has hit one road section and four RTs or 0.013 percent of the 30,470 total RTs in Jakarta

Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) Head, Isnawa Adji expressed that his party had deployed personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate related elements.

Jakarta BPBD: Two Roads in Jakarta Still Flooded

These include Jakarta SDA Agency, Jakata Bina Marga Agency, Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat) to suck up inundation and ensure that the storm drains function properly.

"We're also coordinating with local urban village and sub-district heads. We try to recede inundation quickly," he expressed.

His party urged the public to remain vigilant and alert to potential inundation. In an emergency, call 112 immediately.

"This 24-hour service is free of charge," he stated.

West Jakarta

Kebon Jeruk Urban Village

- Total: three RTs

- Height: 20-40 centimeters

- Cause: heavy rainfall and overflow of Pesanggrahan River

Joglo Urban Village

- Total: one RT

- Height: 10 centimeters

- Cause: high rainfall

1. Jalan Bangun Nusa Raya, RW 03, Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat with a water level of 10 centimeters

1. Ulujami Urban Village: one RT

4. Kebayoran Lama Selatan Urban Village: one RT
