The State Electric Company (PLN) has reignited some power houses that turned off because of flooded some time ago. The operation has been started since last Monday (2/16) around 3 PM.

Communication, Law, and Administrations Manager of PT PLN, Distribution of Jakarta and Tangerang, Koesdianto said, all power houses can be operated because the flood has receded. "All power houses can be operated and ready to supply electricity to customers," said Koesdianto, Tuesday (2/17).
According to him, Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) in North Jakarta is the last area that gets electricity from the power house due to its location that becomes the most severe flooding location.
PLN Threatens to Cut Off Power at City’s Offices and FacilitiesPreviously on Monday (2/9), a total of 626 power houses were turned off due to flooded. One of the impacts was disturbing the operation of water pump in Pluit reservoir that increased the water level in Pluit Reservoir to 140 centimeters.
Unfortunately, if the downpour still occurs in capital, PLN will turn off the power house again.
"We will see in the future, if the citizen's settlement submerged again, we must turn off the power house again to maintain the citizen's safety," he added.
As known, three people killed because of stung by electricity during flood few weeks ago. In order to prevent the same accident, PLN must to cut off the electricity.
