West Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) held an introductory tour of West Jakarta tourist destinations attended by 100 participants on Saturday (3/11).

West Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan said most participants were students, media, community, tourism industry, and general public.

"This is done to introduce destinations in West Jakarta," she expressed.

According to her, they were invited to explore tourist destinations and visit several hotels to see facilities ranging from rooms, ballrooms, etc. The tourist destinations visited were Glodok Chinatown, Kota Tua (Old Town), Cattleya Park, Textile Museum, and Candra Naya.

"Herein, we can get to know more about tourist destinations and their facilities and infrastructure in the hope that tourism in Jakarta, especially in West Jakarta will be better known and advanced," she explained.

Digital Communication Assistant for Hotel Ciputra Jakarta, Dona appreciated and thanked the West Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency for holding a program to explore tourist destinations, one of which was by visiting hotels which are currently starting to revive after the Covid-19 pandemic.

"I welcome and appreciate this program. Hopefully, there will be a positive mutual synergy with the visit of participants by bringing guests to the hotel after seeing the facilities," she stated.

Then Daniel Halim, one of the participants said, he felt happy and grateful to be a participant in this activity.

"Activities like this are very beneficial for us from EOs, WO travel agencies, and the community. Because it can help promote the existence of hotels in West Jakarta which have good facilities and others, thus it is expected to increase economic growth," he closed.
