Update Data on Fire Handling at Pertamina's Plumpang Fuel Storage Depot Until Friday (March 17)

The Jakarta Provincial Government continues to optimize assistance for the victims and refugees of the fire disaster at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, Rawa Badak Selatan, North Jakarta, which occurred on Friday (3/3) evening. It includes ensuring that victims and refugees receive their basic needs, such as food and clothing.

We synergized with various parties

Based on data from the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes), until Friday (3/17), the death toll had increased by 2 people, bringing the total death toll to 28 people. Meanwhile, 16 people are still being treated by medical teams at 2 hospitals. Jakarta Government ensures that the conditions of the victims are in optimal handling.

"During the handling of the disaster, we synergized with various parties to distribute various assistance consisting of food, clothing, medicine, and various other basic needs. This is our effort to ensure the best and optimal service for the victims," expressed Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) Head, Isnawa Adji, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (3/17).

In the population service at the evacuation site, 442 services have been provided, including printing of identity cards (KTP), printing of family cards (KK), registration of digital population identities (IKD), requests for birth and death certificates, and consultations. Aside that, various assistance for victims and refugees has been provided, in synergy with BPBD, National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), Social Agency (Dinsos), and health services from Dinkes.
