Pramuka Island to Hold Gebyar Ramadan

The Panggang Island Urban Village together with the Jami Al Makmuriyah Mosque Islamic Youth Association, Pramuka Island, North Seribu Islands is about to soon hold a Gebyar Ramadan event.

Registration for the event that aims to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan has been opened from April 3 to 15, 2023.
Gebyar Ramadan Chief Executive, Ade Pahri Parmansyah said the Gebyar Ramadan event is the first time as a manifestation of the enthusiasm of Muslims to be more pious.

He explained there would be various competitions such as women's Muslim fashion at PAUD level, prayer, azan (call to prayer) at elementary level, ceramah/lecture, memorization of the Qur'an, and recitations for junior and senior high school/MTS levels, as well as bedug drumming.
Residents who want to register for these competitions can directly contact the committee or visit the mosque.
"It will start from April 19 to 20. Participants will get benefits in the form of coaching money and competition certificates," he explained.
The event itself got appreciation from Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin. Besides celebrating Ramadan, it is also useful for strengthening friendships among fellow Muslims and exploring community potential.
