The Governor Basuki Tjahaja "Ahok" Purnama asked the citizen to participate in maintaining the  cleanliness  and all facilities in the area of flats. He confirmed that citizen can stay in flat for whole life if they can obey the regulation. However, if their economy growing better they can accordingly to leave flats.

Please return the flat to us, unlucky people will rent the unit

"Not all citizen have lucky fate. If their fate still stagnant that is fine to stay, but please keep the area still clean," he confirmed when inaugurating Tambora flat, West Jakarta, (2/24).

Basuki also asked the occupants not to sale the units. The occupants have to return the flat to building management if someday their economy is getting better.

" Please return the flat to us, unlucky people will rent the unit ," he insisted.

According to him, the citizen who sell and rent the unit which already subsidized by government will be punished.

"The most important thing is I am seriously to put anyone to jail who dare sell or rent our units," he said.

Furthermore, Tambora flat which built by Jakarta Provincial Government can be settled by now. In the future, Tambora flat will be liveable sample houses . All the standard flat (size) 30. We have been trying to build 50,000 units. We realize not all the citizen have lucky fate," he added.

The government officially operated four flats which have been completed renovated  that are Tambora, Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogebang and Cipinang Besar Selatan.

Tambora Flat consists of three 16-floor tower with 549 units includes 4 blocks exciting; Jatinegara Kaum Flat East Jakarta consists of two 6-floor block with 160 units; Pulogebang Flat East Jakarta with 2 block, 6 floors, 160 units; Cipinang Besar Selatan Flat (Cibesel) East Jakarta as 2 blocks, 6 floor, 200 units.  

The four flats were built by different developers. Especially for Tambora Flat, Jakarta Provincial Government give the rental price at Rp 458 thousands per month including elevator and park maintenance.
