"There are 328 tourists who visited Pramuka Island on April 29 and today there are 630 people. They've been here since 11 AM," he said, Sunday (4/30).

He explained these tourists were transported by several ships such as Motor Boat (KM), Pesona Alam, Purbaya, Rindu Alam, Sangai, Makmur Exs, and KM Raksasa.

The surge in tourists this week made officers at security posts carry out tighter monitoring to avoid unwanted incidents while providing comfort for visitors.

"So far, it's safe, orderly, and conducive. A security and health post has also been set up near the pier since last Idul Fitri," he explained.

He added tourist visits to Pramuka Island increased by 100 percent during the Idul Fitri holiday compared to the usual holidays. These conditions had a positive impact on the accommodation, transportation, lodging and food and beverage business sectors on Pramuka Island.

"Hopefully, tourist visits will keep increasing and Pramuka Island tourism will become more famous," he stated.
