2,500 MSMEs in West Jakarta to Have NIB This Year

As many as 2,500 coached MSMEs or traders selling at coached locations (Lokbin) and temporary locations (Loksem) in West Jakarta are targeted to have business identification numbers (NIB) this year. It aims to grow and drive the economy while at the same time providing ease of doing business for the community.

With NIB, there will be convenience for them to continuously develop their business

West Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM) Head, Iqbal Idham Ramid expressed as many as 2,500 traders would occupy 38 units of loksem and five units of lokbin.

"Of 2,500 traders, only 750 already have NIB so far," he expressed, Thursday (6/8).

Therefore, the rest 1,750 traders who did not yet have an NIB are targeted to have one soon. That is by intensifying socialization to manage NIB easily and quickly online via the website, oss.go.id. They only need to fill in the data according to the type of business they are involved in. Afterwards, it can be printed for the NIB which will be issued by the Investment Ministry/BKPM.

"With NIB, there will be convenience for them to continuously develop their business," he finished.
