22 Vehicles on Panggang Island Undergo Emission Tests

The Seribu Islands Environment Sub-agency (LH) held emission tests for two-wheeled vehicles in the courtyard of Panggang Island Village Office, North Seribu Islands.

In total, 22 two-wheeled vehicles undergo emission tests today

Pollution Control and Environmental Damage Section Head, Sri Hayyu Alyanda Heryati said the emissions test was meant to

provide residents with an understanding of Governor Regulation Number 66/2020 on Motor Vehicle Exhaust Emission Tests.

2,622 Vehicles in East Jakarta Undergo Emission Tests Throughout 2022

"In total, 22 two-wheeled vehicles undergo emission tests today," he expressed, Monday (7/17).

Of 22 vehicles, one failed test test. The emission test this time targeted vehicles owned by local urban village officials.

"I hope residents can participate in supporting the Langit Biru Jakarta program," he expressed.

North Seribu Islands Sub-district Head, Ismail positively welcomed the emission tests on Panggang Island. Hopefully, it could run on every island.

"By so, we can help reduce air pollution in Jakarta," he stated.
