Seribu Islands SDA Builds Bridge on Harapan Island

The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is building a bridge at RT 05/01, Kelapa Island, North Seribu Islands.

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said the bridge would be the access for residents from the south side of the beach to the octagonal embankment.

The bridge is built 21 meters long with a floor width of 1.5 meters and a thickness of 15 centimeters.

September, Repairs to Four Bridges in North Jakarta Completed

"It is just entering the construction stage of the bridge piers using cast iron coated with plastic pipe," he expreesed, Friday (8/4).

He explained the construction which had started since last Tuesday (8/1) involved eight personnel with a target of completion in September 2023.

"After the poles have been casted and hardened, we proceed to the stage of making the frame," he explained.

Harapan Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Yusuf added the bridge construction in RW 01 was to make it easier for local residents to cross to the south side of the embankment.

"We'll color the bridges and embankments later to make them more attractive and beautiful," he stated.
