To create healthier air, the Jakarta Provincial Government teams up with Astra to hold free emission tests for the public. The emission test has been started from September 4 to December 31, 2023.

To reduce extreme weather in Jakarta through emission tests

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) Acting Head, Ani Ruspitawati who is also the speaker for the Air Pollution Control Task Force said the Jakarta Government appreciated Astra for its commitment to supporting government policies and initiatives to reduce the impact of extreme weather in Jakarta.

"The Acting Governor has invited Astra to support the Jakarta Government's policies and initiatives in efforts to reduce extreme weather in Jakarta through emission tests. This invitation received a good response from Astra, which immediately held a free emission test for its customers for quite a long time, from September to December 2023,' she expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release, Tuesday (9/5).

She hoped that it could help reduce air pollution in Jakarta, thus more companies or stakeholders would care about and participate in reducing air pollution in Jakarta.

Corporate Affairs Astra Chief, Riza Deliansyah uttered his party was ready to facilitate free emissions tests for customers' vehicles at several Astra dealer workshops spread across various areas of Jakarta.

"There are 45 Astra dealer workshops integrated with the Jakarta Environment Agency, spread over some points, which can serve Astra customer vehicle emission tests for free, by making a reservation in advance," he stated.

The free emission tests are located at Auto2000, Astra Daihatsu, Astra Isuzu, Astra UD Trucks, Astra Peugeot, BMW Astra, Lexus, and Astra Motor workshops. There are also three Astra Otoservice outlets and two Shop & Drive outlets, which are also ready to serve their customers for free vehicle emission tests.
