As known, Jakarta Provincial Government will raise the performance allowance for Jakarta Civil Servant (PNS) by preparing the budget cap of Rp 19 trillion in 2015 Draft City Budget.

We will raise their allowance, but they should not receive any fees for service provided

As a consequence, the civil servants are prohibited to receive fees of any physical or non-physical activity in capital, including taking reward from the citizens.

"We will raise their allowance, but they should not receive any fees for service provided," said City Secretary (Sekda), Saefullah at City Hall, Thursday (3/19).

DPRD: 2015 Budget Discussion Will Finish On Time

Saefullah explained, the large amount of performance allowance is aimed to create a clean and good government in capital. "The budget cap was still in accordance with the Act to not exceed 30 percent of the total budget because only 24 percent," he explained.

The Former Mayor of Central Jakarta revealed, the proposal to increase the allowance in Draft City Budget was agreed by Home Affairs Ministry, even though the ministry asked to change the name from static and dynamic Provincial Performance Allowance (TKD) to performance allowance.

"We would give the allowance based on their performance. Not like the past that have the same amount of TKD for the good or bad employee. We want to build this system," he uttered.
