The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) once again took part in the Incentive Travel and Conventions Meetings (IT&CM Asia 2023) exhibition and trade show, at the Bangkok Convention Center, Thailand. This exhibition lasts for three days on September 26-28, 2023.

He explained the Disparekraf Agency sent 12 tourism industry co-exhibitors operating in the venue, hotel, and destination management company business sectors.

"As an international MICE destination, the Jakarta Government is serious about working on this market by involving the tourism industry in international MICE exhibitions. The co-exhibitors are ready to compete for the Asia Pacific MICE market at the IT&CM Asia exhibition 2023," he expressed, in the Jakarta Government's press release, Wednesday (9/27).
He added Jakarta showed its readiness as a business city through the development of MICE activities which were able to make a major contribution to the regional economy. MICE activities in Jakarta are targeted to become leading tourism because they have enormous potential to boost the economy, especially the tourism sector and the creative economy.
"Besides playing an important role in business aspects and official meetings, the MICE Industry also has a positive impact on leisure and entertainment aspects. It is capable of attracting participants from both the archipelago and abroad to come to Jakarta," he added.
