Officers from Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department are intensively raiding the beggars carrying a baby. Allegedly, the baby is given sleeping pills after being taken out to beg.

Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-Department, Susana Budi Susilowati claimed her sub-department received complaints from the citizens about the baby who is given the pills by the parents. 

"But from our data, the case is not proven yet," she stressed, Monday (3/23).

To prove it, she has coordinated with the Health Sub-Department to test the babies' urine. 

"From the outreach results, the babies are hyperactive and agile. Yet we keep investigating whether they are given the pills or not," she expressed.

Head of Central Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Reggy Stephanus Sobari stated at this time, the urine test against seven babies is still ongoing. "The test results haven't come out, but they are physically still hyperactive and agile," she disclosed.
