Heru's Term of Office as Acting Governor Finally Extended

Heru Budi Hartono's term of office as Acting Governor of Jakarta has been extended. It is based on the President's Decree No. 87/2023 on the Extension of the Term of Office for the Appointment of Acting Governor.

The term of office has been extended from October 17, 2023, a maximum of one year

He received the Decree on the extension directly at the Home Ministry (Kemendagri) office.

According to him, his term of office as Acting Governor was a maximum of one year and could be extended.

"The term of office has been extended from October 17, 2023, a maximum of one year. Evaluated every three months," he expressed, after he launched the Treasury Service System Transformation at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (10/16).

He added he remained focused on completing homework or ongoing programs in Jakarta.

"We're carrying out work that was not finished yesterday, solving traffic jams, pollution and waste," he finished.
