Arsa Beach Has Seven New Permanent Wash Bins

The Seribu Islands Water Resouces (SDA) Sub-agency has completed the making of seven new permanent wash bins in the Arsa Beach area, Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.

These wash bins are made at a long distance

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village SDA Coordinator, Mahiar said the permanent wash bins were made to face the Adipura awards and meet the MSME's needs, including visitors on the beach.

"They (wash bins) are made at a long distance," he said, Monday (10/23).

He explained the work started on Wednesday (10/18) and was completed yesterday. It involved ten personnel of Untung Jawa Island SDA.

"We made a standard wash bin measuring 90x40 centimeters. Previously, there were also portable wash bins in the floor area," he explained.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head, Sidartawan expressed his gratitude to the SDA personnel who had completed the making of the wash bin on time.

Hopefully, it could create a cleaner, healthier environment, and give added value during the Adipura assessment later.

"We make many to facilitate visitors," he said.
