City Wins Two Awards at Innovative Government Award 2023

The Jakarta Provincial Government won a prestigious Innovative Government Award (IGA) 2023 award. The award was carried out in the Sasana Bhakti Praja Room, Ministry of Home Affairs, Tuesday (12/12).

We must compete in goodness with other regions in Indonesia

Jakarta is one of seven provinces that received the Most Innovative Province award.

"We're grateful that Jakarta has finally succeeded in getting the title of Most Innovative Province again this year. I want to thank the guidance and direction from the Jakarta Acting Governor and the hard work of all levels in Jakarta," expressed City Secretary Assistant, Sigit Wijatmoko, who represented the Acting Governor to receive the award.

Jakarta Wins Best Award in Eradicating Corruption Crimes

Jakarta also won the Highest Regional Score in Category II (Java region).

“Jakarta can't be complacent. We must compete in goodness with other regions in Indonesia. At IGA this year, we registered 200 innovations, hopefully, they can continue to be maintained and improved," he explained, in the Jakarta Government's press release.

IGA is a routine event held by the Ministry of Home. The award, held since 2007, is an appreciation for regional governments that have implemented innovations to improve regional government administration.
