HUT Jakarta, Malam Muda Mudi Ditiadakan

No Muda-Mudi Festival in Jakarta's 488th Anniversary

As we know, Jakarta's 488th anniversary which falls on June 22, 2015 is getting closer. No wonder, several events and entertainment is being prepared for Jakartans. But for this year, Jakarta Night Festival or muda-mudi known as Youngsters Festival will be dispended. It is because the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project is still being constructed on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin that often used for the festival.

There will be no muda-mudi festival in city's anniversary

"There will be no muda-mudi festival in city's anniversary,” said Head of Jakarta's 488th Anniversary, Andi Baso Mappapoleonr, at City Hall, Tuesday (3/31).

Mappapoleonr assessed, the festival cannot be listed because of MRT project along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin.

He mentions the city's anniversary is slated to be held at the end of May 2015, in Kota Tua, West Jakarta. It will be held simultaneously in five regions.
