Hello foodies! This time, Beritajakarta.id team found the Hidden Gem Dim Sum, which is called "Juragan Dimsum" around Jalan Tarian Raya Housing Complex, Block B4/14, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
The owner of Juragan Dim Sum with the tagline "Happiness for Everyone is Vitry Budhyarto (43) from East Java. Starting with a capital by Rp 11 million, the Dim Sum she sells has quality ingredients compared to other places, especially since the meat is denser than its flour. The Dim Sum variants sold are starting from Jumbo Sushi, Gyouza, Mentai, Ceker Ayam (chicken feet), etc.
Stories of Entrepreneur Easily Getting Business Permit in JakartaHer business journey began in 2018, starting from offering her homemade Dim Sum to office friends to taking part in a bazaar on Car Free Day (CFD) and opening a cart at the Kelapa Gading jogging track park, North Jakarta. Unfortunately, there are still few customers.
As a result, she decided to sell Dim Sum at Alfamart opposite the Kelapa Gading jogging track park and slowly started to get lots of buyers. Because there was an excavation project, she was forced to continue the business at her home.
"When I was selling in front of Alfamart, I was approached by the Jakpreneur team and offered to join with various facilities. Finally, I decided to register from making an NIB, training to halal certification. Halal was needed because I was said to be a non-Muslim before. Amazing! It's really easy to register just using an ID card," she expressed, Sunday (1/14).
In just a week as a Jakprenuer member, she finally got a halal permit certificate from BPOM. From here on, her business wings opened wide.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), all the conditions have been made easier. Even if you take care of it yourself or get help, it's not necessarily easy to get it. The point is that Jakpreneur is very helpful," she admitted.
To promote business and increase income, she opens up opportunities for people to become resellers or dropshippers. Thus far, she already has more than 53 resellers, including retail, starting cafe, restaurant, and franchise entrepreneurs. And the income in a month can reach Rp 90 million to Rp 150 million on high sessions.
"We open production every Monday to Friday. The price variations we sell include mushrooms, beef, crab, and shrimp. The prices we sell range from Rp 13,000 for Gyouza, Rp 15,000 for Ceker Ayam, Rp 17,000 for Mentai Dim Sum, Rp 18,000 for Dim Sum Sushi, and Rp 15,000 for Jumbo Dim Sum with a diameter of 12 centimeters," she continued.
She also opened orders via Go Food, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood, including TiktokShop, which is currently being prepared. For 2024, she plans to open branches or production houses, for example in Surabaya, Bali, Palembang, Jogja, Cirebon, etc, as she has many resellers outside Jakarta.
"In 2022, we won the Jakpreuner Award, hopefully, it can motivate the young generation to open a business. My mission and hope are capable of providing benefits, creating more new entrepreneurs, and helping resellers with little capital to sell," she closed.
