Fire in Grogol Killed Three People

A massive fire gutted a house that located on Jalan Semeru VI No.23, RT 001/10, Grogol, Grogol Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, West Jakarta, Wednesday (4/8), around 5 AM. There were three casualties reported in the incident.

The dead victims are identified as Edy Susanto (55), Tan Bin Tjhin (50) and Candy (19). They are found in hugging condition each other in a bathroom.

To extinguish the flames, as many as 15 fire trucks of West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Handling Sub-Department immediately deployed to the scene. “They managed to extinguish the flames within an hour,” said Grogol Urban Village Head, Febriandi Suharto.
Suharto suspected the cause of fire is from an incense in the front of the house that snatched the leaked motorcycle gasoline.
The victims' bodies have been brought to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Central Jakarta, for an autopsy. Thus far, the fire case is still being handled by the officers of Tanjung Duren Metro Sector Police.
