Social Agency to Add Physical Aid for Disability

Jakarta Social Agency is about to add 225 units of physical aid this year.

2,370 units of physical aid for disabilities

This is an effort to help underprivileged people with disabilities so they can carry out their activities well.

Jakarta Social Agency Head, Premi Lasari, said there will be 2,370 units of physical aid for disabilities.

"There are 225 additional units. So the total is 2,370 units," she said, Tuesday (1/30).

In details are 20 children wheelchairs in Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency, 10 hearing aid units in North Jakarta Social Sub-agency, four walkers in North Jakarta Social Sub-agency.

Moreover, there are three hearing aid units in West Jakarta Social Sub-agency, 100 wheelchairs in South Jakarta Social Sub-agency, 10 children wheelchairs in South Jakarta Social Sub-agency, 10 walkers in South Jakarta Social Sub-agency and 68 wheelchairs in East Jakarta Social Sub-agency.

According to her, people with disability are able to get the assistance by submitting underprivileged letter from urban village, copy of family card, copy of ID card, birth certificate, and full body picture.

"It is hoped the assistance will be able to assist them much," she closed.
