City Wins Informative Public Agency Award for the Sixth Time

The Jakarta Provincial Government, succeeded in winning the Informative Public Agency Award in the Provincial Government Category from the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP) at the Public Information Openness Award ceremony at the Vice President's Office, Tuesday (12/19).

This year's Informative Public Agency Award in the Provincial Government Category is a proud achievement for the Jakarta Government, as it has received the same award six times in a row since 2018. Meanwhile, in this year's monitoring and evaluation results, the Jakarta Government achieved a score of 93.28.
Jakarta Communications, Informatics, and Statistics Agency (Kominfotik) Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said the Jakarta Government continues to be committed to disseminating Public Information Openness by creating various innovations to meet the public's need for fast, accurate, and easily accessible public information.
Beritajakarta Wins Award from East Jakarta PPKDAccording to him, the Jakarta Government implemented an Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) in optimizing services for Public Information requests. It was in line with the increasing demand for online public information after Covid-19, which reached more than 90 percent.
"The SPBE implementation is implemented through the development of the PPID Website and Mobile Application," he expressed, Tuesday (12/19).
He explained the Jakarta Government is also building a Microsite with an integrated PPID menu covering sub-districts and sub-districts in Jakarta as part of the website development.
In addition, to make it easier for people with disabilities to access public information, the Jakarta Government has adjusted disability-friendly announcement standards and applied them on the official website https://jakarta.go.id/ and https://ppid.jakarta.go.id/ by adding special features for people with disabilities (Difable Accessibility Feature).
Then, the Jakarta Government has also provided open data to the public through the development of the Jakarta open data portal https://satudata.jakarta.go.id/ which provides data from all units and Work units under the Jakarta Government.
"Until now, in 2023, there are 1,118 datasets that have been published on the One Data Jakarta Portal with 30 topics sourced from 51 regional apparatuses in Jakarta. This data consists of all data summarized by the Communications and Information Technology Service, including Open Data," he explained.
He continued the implementation of Public Information Openness was also implemented in transparent procurement of agencies and services through the Jakarta LPSE website and direct procurement via e-orders for e-purchasing, as an online market for Jakarta MSEs.
"Hopefully, this innovation will be useful in maintaining market price stability by providing price transparency," he explained.
He added another innovation was providing a complaint and clarification channel to ward off hoaxes in Jakarta through Jakarta Against Hoaks (Jalahoaks) https://jalahoaks.jakarta.go.id/.
"The public is expected to be more careful about hoax or disinformation circulating. Report immediately via WhatsApp service 0813 5000 5331 and Instagram @jalahoaks," he added.
He said that the Jakarta Government is not only creating innovation but also collaborating with various parties to disseminate information, such as several national private television stations to broadcast strategic programs for the Jakarta area and also broadcast by several private radio stations.
"Aside that, to provide easy access to information using sign language, the Jakarta Government collaborates with BISINDO at press conferences and other activities," he uttered.
As for the information, the award won by the Jakarta Government as an Informative Public Body in the Provincial Government Category is given based on a number of aspects, namely, facilities and infrastructure, quality of information, type of information, organizational commitment, digitalization, as well as innovation and strategies for developing information openness.
