Firefighters Evacuate Car Stuck on Jalan M Saidi Raya

The South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat), evacuated a car that had crashed into a channel on Jalan M Saidi Raya, Petukangan Selatan, Pesanggrahan.

Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the car is lifted and able to continue its activities

South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda said the firefighters first noticed this incident after returning from the picket and immediately reporting it to the local Gulkarmat Command Post.

"On the way home at 9 AM, my men saw a public transportation car stuck near the Ciledug Gate Toll road. They then reported to the guard members to request further evacuation measures," he expressed, Friday (2/9).

In evacuating the car, five personnel along with one light rescue unit were immediately deployed to the scene and managed to evacuate the car within an hour.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the car is lifted and able to continue its activities after we lift it using the equipment we have," he explained.

While, the car owner, Nathan Ramadhan Putra (31) thanked the firefighters who quickly and swiftly assisted in the process of evacuating his car.

"I can only say thank you. Hopefully, they will always be blessed for helping selflessly," he stated.
