Ragunan Zoo Opens from 7 AM to 3 PM During Ramadan

In the name of Ramadan, the Ragunan Zoo (TMR) located on Jalan Harsono RM, Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta will adjust its operatinal hours.

We are open from 7 AM to 3 PM during Ramadan

TMR's Service and Public Relations Staff, Wahyudi Bambang said the zoo would remain open Tuesday through Sunday and close only on Mondays for the animals to recover.

"We are open from 7 AM to 3 PM during Ramadan," he expressed, Wednesday (3/13).

He explained it refers to Circular Letter Number e-0003/SE/2024 on Tourism Business during Ramadan and Idul Fitri 1445 Hijri/2024 AD.

"It aims to respect the people who observe Ramadan," he explained.

He explained the tourist trend for visitors to the zoo seemed to be shifting to choosing to vacation while Ngabuburit (hanging out).

"Besides seeing various animals, visitors can also use the one-km jogging track area for exercise on the edge of the lake while waiting for breaking the fast," he added.

They can also get around using the wara-wiri cars and eight buggy cars that are already available at the zoo.

"Come enjoy Ramadan with useful activities full of education and fun with your family at the TMR. Just buy a ticket for Rp 3,000 to 4,000, either online or offline," he said.
