Good News, Free Mudik Program Has Chance to Reopen!

Registration for the Jakarta Free Mudik (exodus) Program has closed because the quota of 18,760 registrants has been met. However, the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has the opportunity to reopen registration for this program.

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said that currently verification of registrant data was under process. There were several registrants who did not input the required administrative files during online registration, one of which was their KTP. It has the potential to leave the quota.

"When registering, they can't input their NIK, which is why we are releasing it and potentially there will be remaining quota which we will announce again for the next stage, thus someone can register and fill the quota vacancies that do not meet the verification requirements," he expressed, Tuesday (3/26).

He was targeting the verification process for applicants for the Jakarta Free Mudik Program to be completed this week and an announcement regarding the reopening of registration for this program could be made next week.

"It is currently being verified and will be completed by the beginning of this week at the latest, so we can announce it at the beginning of next week," he explained.

He explained the quota provided reached 18,760 passengers with a total of 469 buses. 259 buses would operate on mudik flow and 210 buses for returning flow.

"Hopefully, sooner or later, we already have all registrant data and then verified the results. It will be announced if there are vacancies for seats that do not meet the requirements at the time of registration," he hoped.
